ITINERARY Day 1: Arrival in Cochin and Sightseeing Upon your arrival in Cochin (Kochi), check in at your chosen hotel Your afternoon is dedicated to exploring the historical gems of Fort Kochi, including St. Francis Church, the Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace) with its vibrant murals, and the enchanting Jewish Synagogue. As evening falls, back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Munnar Following a hearty breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Munnar, you'll be captivated by the lush landscapes and will have the opportunity to visit the mesmerizing Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls, adding an extra layer of beauty to your trip. Upon reaching Munnar, you'll check in to your chosen hotel or resort, where you can unwind amidst the tranquil surroundings. The evening is yours to spend at your leisure, whether it's exploring the vibrant local markets or simply relaxing at your cozy accommodation.
Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing The day commences with a delightful breakfast, setting the stage for a day of exploration in the picturesque Munnar. Your morning includes visits to the Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point, offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding hills and a chance to hear your voice reverberate. Savor lunch at a local restaurant in Munnar before continuing your journey. The afternoon is dedicated to a visit to the Tea Museum, where you'll delve into the history and art of tea production in Munnar. Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady After breakfast, check out from your Munnar hotel and commence a scenic drive to Thekkady. The journey unveils stunning landscapes and typically lasts around 4-5 hours. Upon arriving in Thekkady, check in at your chosen hotel or resort and unwind amidst the serene surroundings. In the late afternoon, embark on an adventure in the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, renowned for its boat safaris on Periyar Lake, providing opportunities to observe elephants, bison, and a plethora of bird species in their natural habitat. Enjoy dinner at your Thekkady accommodation and spend the night surrounded by the natural wonders of the region.
Day 5: Thekkady to Alleppey Resort After breakfast at your hotel, early check out from Thekkady and embark on a scenic drive to Alleppey, which takes around 4-5 hours. Upon arrival in Alleppey, check in at your selected resort. Spend the day relaxing and savoring the tranquil ambiance of the resort and the scenic backwaters. In the evening, visit Alleppey beach, and unwind amidst the serene beauty of Alleppey.
Day 6: Departure As the sun rises, enjoy a delicious breakfast at your Alleppey resort or hotel. After check out we will take you back to Cochin, where you can catch your onward flight or train.
